ENGLISH ADULT CLASSES IN KAGOMA GATE

We would like to introduce our new project that we are bringing to Kagoma Gate and for people from surrounding villages - English Adult Lessons performed by english teachers qualified in Adult Education.

As some of you may know that residents of Kagoma Gate village are mainly travelers who settled and made mud houses on the old railway path by the forest. People coming from different countries and areas speaking with various tribal languages and often cannot understand one another or Ugandan native language and neither of them can talk English.

English language for people in Uganda opens up a new whole world to them and options in improving their lives. Thanks to this project, many of the people will also learn how to read and write for the first time and will feel like a part of modern society.

By training them in English Language, it will open up an option of educating themselves further such is using a library facility that we are planning to establish, and to enable them to attend any other classes that we want to bring in the future - such are business studies or literature.

Since we started education of our Whisper Children at One World Orphanage and Whisper's First Child Academy of Hope, parents have expressed concern about their own lack of english language that affect their self-conscious and confidence and feel small in front of their children, who have incredibly improved in english for the last  months, so they can make  english conversations among themselves in their young age :-)

English classes start this Saturday 21st of January and continue every Saturday and Sunday.

English classes will be divided into 4 weeks sections where in the first section they will learn of Alphabet and the right pronunciation as well in writing and reading, followed by next section of english numeracy and so on.

Each lesson cost our supporters £13 and we truly believe that this money invested into more than 40 people's lives will create a change and motivation to their every new day.
